Shopping Catalog Tips

Technology changes rapidly so be sure you always keep up to date with updates, security patches, and upgrades to your shopping catalog system! Not doing this could make you a security risk to others on your servers, your visitors, and your very own customers.  Your website could shut down and not be recoverable.  Please contact me if you are my client and want to receive an update.

Sweet Cheeks and Me Testimonial

Sweet Cheeks and Me!

Cathy has been invaluable to me!  She has so much knowledge that she cannot help but give you advice every step of the way.  From the organization of your catalog to shipping tips.  She also provides so many extra services that other designers won't provide without an additional fee.  I don't know how anyone could get by without those services!  While researching designers, I discovered they all want to nickel and dime you to death.  Plus, while they all claimed they could design my dream site, I just couldn't connect with any of the webs they had designed.

I jumped in with a dream and somewhat of a vision.  I don't think anyone could have come to Cathy with less working knowledge that I did and more details than I did!  I had barely started my business when I decided to launch a website!  Combined all that with the fact that I'm an attorney!  She had her hands full, but she kept me informed, on track and focused.  She never hesitated to tell me I needed to be clearer, on more than one occasion.  She cares about the website as much as the client and does not perform work until everyone is on the same page and has the same vision.

To see some of these great details, look at my home page!  I had to put my cat to sleep after I had approved the website design.  Cathy graciously added a cat silohoutte in the window of my boutique. My daughter's name is on the wall in hanging letters.  There's a longhorn hidden on my site.  She put sayings or monograms on my products.  Even after I approved the web design she added incredible details!!

I am so thankful I went with Cathy!

 glitz and glamour boutique
Project: Glitz and Glamour Boutique. Jill is a longstanding client of mine and we did her original website back in 2006. She decided it was time to freshen up her website look. We changed out her boutique window display, gave her character a new outfit, moved the hyperactive animated pooch (chiguagua) from the window to her characters side on a leash, redid the navigation, added sparkling animation to the chandelier in her logo, and updated her shopping catalog with the latest technology. Jill also got rid of her splash page to make updating and navigating the website more efficient. Lastly, we topped it off with matching business cards and blog too!

The Merry Martini Project: The Merry Martini- A boutique that is all about entertaining and giving the perfect gift. Gifts for the entertainer, swanky martini glasses, stylish pet gifts and online consulting with event planning. Kelly had a bunch of fun ideas for a site when she came to me like color scheme, logo ideas and the southern beach combo scene. It was fun to bring it all to life, truly a celebration creating this boutique. The atmosphere and feel of the art brought a great big smile to my face. Infusing details into Kelly's dream was super easy with such a love and connection to it. You ought to try her martini recipe...it is to die for!

Image Project: Retro Jane- Tammy wanted a e-commerce cart that was easy for her to use and update.  She wanted her site design to remain as close as possible to her current retro vintage style. Tammy actually had two layouts. One for the content pages and landing page, and one for the shopping cart.  We sorta combined them both creating a design that was easiest to integrate with the function of her new shopping catalog and made for a fluent site. We jazzed up some things with a little animation, added a retro bird, gave her a blog, a newsletter, and voila a perfect little makeover project has just been complete!

Pink Puddle Gifts Project: Pink Puddle Gifts - An upscale gift boutique specializing in fabulous gifts for everyone. Joanne wanted a fun filled site with lots of pizazz using bright pink and brown color scheme. A couple of my favorite things about this site are the logo, and the pink adores brown color scheme because it is showy!
Preview Feedback :  "I love it! It looks absolutely fabulous!"
Little Monogram Shop Project: Little Monogram Shop - sells personalized gifts, classic, fun and cheerful preppy with a twist type items you don't find everywhere. Dori took the next step and brought her brick and mortar retail shop online. We created the most perfect monogram logo and put it in a fun and colorful design to suit the products she carries. For the scene Dori played off her name Dorothy to mimic Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz. We recreated a vintage Schwinn bike, put a basket on the front and stuck toto in there.  Dori the character illustration is prepped out including a monogram shirt, khaki's, a pair of crocs, and plaid hair band. The boutique front looks like her own retail boutique using a photo Dori provided me. Lots of scrolls, stripes, scallops plaids, polka dots intertwined in the design work but keeping it clean and easy to navigate. Matching favicon, newsletter template and blog were done for the complete package.
Preview Feedback :  " It's just incredible! Thank you so much! I'm just taking time to click through everything to get a feel for it. You've thought of everything...-- Dori " Read more here...
