To keep it simple she is only going to offer the monogram items online. Dori has sent me a photo image of her storefront which will be re-created and we plan to play off her name Dorothy with her character on a vintage bike with a dog in the basket...kind of like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz. The site will be organized, colorful, and Dori wants the shopping to be fun because the site looks different from other websites, just like her store looks different from big box stores. JB Quarter Horse Boutique- My client, Dee Lynn Brayman and family are out of Refugio, Texas and breed legend AQHA quarter horses. Take a peek at jbquarterhorses.com. Her audience is mothers who want the best for their babies. Sonia further describes in a way that makes me giggle because, I am friends with these moms, "these mothers would rather be caught dead than in a mini-van (that’s why they drive an Escalade, Denali or Range Rover)". Sonia comes to me with a logo design and a color scheme for stationary by Kimberly Schwede, she loves it, and so do I. She wants it incorporated into her web design. Staying true to her Mexican heritage, Sonia desires a japanese good luck cat somewhere if not anywhere in the picture (this covers the superstitious part), and a cherub fountain she provided an inspirational photo image of. I will add water animation to the fountain. Inspiration for the boutique front is pulled from a magazine cutout Sonia found, and we will add a little "rodeo drive" influence. Since Sonia is selling for boys and girls she wants to stick with a neutral color scheme. She will have a little boy character which I am thrilled to be doing for a change, and a little girl character. Elissa references two other sites she just loves that I have done to use as a guide for her design reference. Elissa requests special memories and touches of her mom and dad be part of the design which is totally sweet and heart wrenching. Her character is to resemble her, and she has sent me photos of herself, products, and the shop storefront and details for inspiration. Desires uncluttered site, chandelier, accent flowers, colorful, popping site. My Chloe Flower -This site is going to be a nice refreshing break for me. It is always humbling when an artist asks me to create their website. Erica Maule from Seattle Washington creates original one of a kind collage art out of elegant print papers, layered, and perfectly coordinated prints and patterns. Themes are mostly natured inspired in warm muted colors anyone could enjoy, whimsical creations for kids, and some that are fun and funky. It will be important to create a site that compliments her art, keep it the focus yet give her what she paid for from me! Her character will be a bird and she loves, flowers, trees and nature. Pottery Creations - Cathy wants a upscale boutique storefront scene that has an awning, is whimsical, and has the swirly wrought iron look. In the storefront window should be pottery. They also have paint your own pottery group parties. A Milky Way-Swingin' right into this hip website and you're going to dig it! I've done retro 50's, retro 70's and now its time for a little retro 60's. I have to say, I am excited and nervous all at the same time upon Adam painting me the picture of his vision. This is a big wonderful dream I must make come true! Adam describes his vision as "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang meets swingin' 60's London on Penny Lane". Okay so you see why I may be nervous about this. hmmm. oh yes. But there is more...."Kate is on a mint green Vespa literally taking off like a little propeller plane or rocket (a la Chitty Chitty Bang Bang) as she zooms off out of THE MILKY WAY children’s boutique." Are you getting this? I near fell out of my chair laughing so hard at this point. What a creative idea...how exciting and scary at the same time. But more..."One hand holds a colorful kite with colorful ribbons on the tail fluttering in the breeze and helping her zoom along. Kate is nursing her baby under a Mod or Soft Spot nursing cover. ... Kate gives us the peace sign as she smiles wide and warmly at us." And there is so much more from Adam...you'll see it all...a creation based off Adam's detailed literary ideas, and a web designers interpretation of those words. Just take a peek at the intro page of this website and wait for Adams response to the final outcome. Abella Boutique-. She has a stripe in mind as well. notepolish - An online paperie that sells invitations and announcements (printed and imprintables), notebooks, stationery, and gifts. Tina has a huge font fetish and is an artist herself, a designer of personalized stationery. Tina designed her logo, came with a couple solid inspiration sources, colors in mind down to the green moss pantone reference number, and some definite ideas about how she wanted her site to look - bold colors against white, fresh, clean, organized, uncluttered, fun, and chic. fashion cocktail-Tiffany came to me to develop a fashion ezine including a fashion directory, shopping blog, newsletter template, opportunity for ads, discounts and coupons. When you are king, dilly dilly I will be queen.” The definition of “dilly” is “delightful, one who is outstanding or remarkable”, which is exactly how Vickie views her kids!. Vickie wants her web design modern, classy but hip, simple, colors pastel, and uncluttered.
